After his apprenticeship in Carinthia, Jürgen Perlinger moved to Switzerland and then to Berlin, but has been back home since 2006. Since 2014 he has worked as head chef at Das Kleine Restaurant in the five-star Hotel Warmbaderhof in Villach-Warmbad.
His personal aspiration for cooking is to use simple ingredients from the region and to cook at a high level and with uncompromising quality - and in that he and his team are invariably successful.
The avant-garde of Austrian cuisine particularly appeals to him, and he combines tried and tested ingredients with new techniques. At the KÜCHEN
