Bio-Zitrusgarten is a beloved year-round destination on Lake Faak. There are around 280 citrus varieties from all over the world collected there, some cultivated in pots for garden enthusiasts and some planted out for fruit harvesting.
The 4000 m2 handicapped accessible Mediterranean garden is a perfect place for wandering between the fruits and the aroma of citrus blossoms.
It is especially recommended to participate in one of the regular tours, which includes tasting samples. This is an incomparable taste experience which our KÜCHENKULT chefs also appreciate, where they let themselves be looked after by proprietor Michael Ceron with his extraordinary fruits like Buddha’s Hand or the Maxima lemon. In addition to supplying regional colleagues, the Lake Faak citrus expert delivers his exceptional fruits to top chefs far beyond Austria’s borders.
