Der Karnerhof

Enjoyment Right on the Faaker See

The four-star superior hotel Karnerhof has won over guests for generations with its Carinthian hospitality and indulgence at the highest level.
The exceptional location and the view of the Faaker See and the Mittagskogel play their part to turn a simple visit to Egg am Faakersee into a true experience.

Treat Yourself at the Award-Winning In-House Restaurant
The in-house gourmet restaurant Götzlstube stands as a particular symbol of the excellent culinary reputation of Karnerhof. But also through KÜCHENKULT the kitchen team shows over and over that the entire establishment has more than earned the title of “Gourmet Hotel.”

Tradition and Innovation
High-quality, fresh ingredients are the focus in the kitchen at Karnerhof. The culinary herbs, by the way, are harvested from the garden personally by the head chef. And thanks to the perfect location in the middle of the Alpe-Adria region, guests at Karnerhof can enjoy simple, light Mediterranean cooking, without the taste of Carinthia being lost.

Only the Best on Mother’s Day
Since the beginning of KÜCHENKULT one date certainly belongs to Hotel Karnerhof. On the second Sunday in May - Mother’s Day - you can look out at the Faaker See while you brunch and celebrate. When the weather is fine you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the spectacular view. The elder Mr. Melcher himself prepares the steak tartare for KÜCHENKULT guests, a large buffet simply invites you to feast, and the desserts at the end are a worthy indulgence.
