It should be down-to-earth, but completely rethought - this is how Florian Hipp describes his way of cooking. He got his love of eating and preparing food while growing up, and the 25-year-old says that even today his mom’s cooking is his favorite.
Hipp connects the Villach - Faaker See - Ossiacher See region primarily with the enjoyment of mountains and lakes, and this is reflected in his dishes. The products that can be found in his kitchen are seasonal and regional and ideally from producers right nearby.
Florian Hipp completed his apprenticeship in award-winning restaurants like Warmbaderhof in Villach and Bärenwirt in Hermagor, by the way. He has been delighting the guests of Gasthof Feichter in Finkenstein - and of course also KÜCHENKULT guests - since August 2021.
